During National Poetry Month we are reminded that songs are often poems set to music.  Share with us a few lines of your favorite song lyrics, along with the title and artist, and you will be entered to win one of five pairs of tickets to see Pentatonix at the Save Mart Center on May 14, 2019.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Save Mart Center, we're able to give away 5 pairs and you could be one of five (5) fans/social media followers to win.

Here's how to enter:

1.      Contest runs from 12:00 PM, Wednesday, April 24, 2019 through 11:59 PM, May 5, 2019.

2.      Like or follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

3.      By midnight on 11:59 PM, May 5, 2019, share a few lines of your favorite song lyrics, along with the title and artist.

FCPL Flash Contest (1/25-11:59 PM 1/27): Show Us Your “Shelfie”!

We want to see YOU at the Library.

January 25 is “Library Shelfie Day” and, to celebrate, we’re offering a fun flash contest for our social media followers. 

It’s easy to enter! Here’s how:

Take a picture of yourself at any of the Fresno County Public Library branches and share it with us on Instagram (@fresnolibrary), Facebook (@fresnolibrary), and/or Twitter (@fcpl), using the hashtag #FresnoLibraryShelfie, for a chance to win a  prize bundle, filled with great new books and other goodies!

For your submission(s) to be eligible, you must:

• Share a picture of yourself in front of a bookshelf at one of FCPL’s branches, by 11:59 PM on 1/27, via Instagram, Facebook, and/or Twitter.
• Ensure that you're the only one in the “shelfie.” (Out of privacy considerations, photos showing other Library customers will not be counted.)
• Set your photo to "Public" for the duration of the contest.
